Will be in prayer for these and all others who lost love ones & friends this year, the holidays are a time when we gather with friends & family, when one is gone it's as though we have a hole in our heart, I have lost several this year and they are truly missed !
news like this makes me more sad as this time of year is around holidays when people are spending time together, makes it rough when a loved one is lost. prayers go out to the masterson family, sorry for your loss.
Russ Hobbs has had a little set back from the cemo treatments. He's also running out of time at the nursing home. They take his home and assets after that. He is going to need a little help. Judy is thinking on what we as his racing family can do.
Whatever i can do to help Randy, LET ME KNOW
David Stockman, known to us sat. night racers as Alabama, sercumed to cancer sat. I'll miss that big smile he always wore.
Racing community lost great friend and driver yesterday.Russ Hobbs passed away yesterday with his long battle with cancer.. RACE IN PEACE BUDDY...
I want to thank GOD and all those who helped us at the track, and to the Morris family who took care of my daughter,Tabitha. I also want to thank GOD for the heroes who helped with Dad at the car: Gene, Dan, and Laroy. These guys are HEROES and MEN of great heart. Without their help things would have been worse. I know more people were involed in helping and I thank God for you too!
I would also like to comment to the few imbecilic people, who think we would send a car down the track that was not equiped with all the correct safety gear and that the gear not ready to be used. The cars safety equiptment and firesuit was inspected yesterday by a second party. (I didn't get to see it till today) and it was found to be ALL in working order and correct. By the way....I AM THE GUY WHO UNHOOKED THE SAFETY ARM RESTRAINTS AND HEAD RESTRAINT, while Gene and Dan held his arms.
As far as the chute goes, the safey pin is still in the trailer and chute is ready to be pulled. The entire crash and physical damage has been gone over with the surgeon we have,(and he just happens to be a racing fan and has treated several drivers). We now know what happened and how. But to those few inconsequential people out there, I would like to ask you to keep your puerile comments and opinions to yourself, and we greatly look forward to seeing you on the starting line.
Once again I want to thank everyone that helped, called or texted and have stopped by the hospital. It is great to know that so many people care enough to check on us. We have a long road to travel, but we will get down it fast!! And be back for the next round.
From all of us at BULL PEN RACING we wish you all the best for a speedy recovery.
Please remember Danny Morris and family in prayer, they lost his wife Brenda to cancer Fri. morning Sept.-7, she was a saturday night racer from a few years back and an avid race fan, and a good friend to my family for over 30 years. R.I.P. Brenda (you will be missed).
We lost Diane who worked in the concession stand for many years tonight. Cancer has no mercy ! We loved her so.
